The Restorer

Rare-book restorer Lena Sarkis dated smuggler Alex, who used her skills to fence stolen museum books. Discovering the truth, she exposed him at an auction—sending him to prison. She led the museum's restoration studio, taught apprentice Michelle, and retired at 63 to a seaside cottage, guarding books and integrity for life.
